A Discrete Approximation for Hyperbolic Systems with Quadratic Interaction Term

Abstract: We investigate the stability and the convergence of a discrete implicit approximation to a class of hyperbolic semilinear kinetic systems in the one-dimensional case. In particular the uniform boundedness and the convergence of this approximation is proved under some suitable assumptions, which include Broadwell model for arbitrary large data.
